Mid-week action

Tim Here
I cannot wait for the weather to keep getting better. Yesterday was so nice and today looks to be better. Yesterday after lacrosse practice, I went to Buddys house and watched the Jazz game. The Jazz looked terrible. Marcus Brady and Dave Cook live there too. After the game I went and picked up Nikki and Al and we went to my ward ball game. We got smoked. They had a guy who was like 6'8" and two guys who just ran circles around us. I had two three pointers, two baskets and one foul shot. It was an okay game. Today I am at school all day long. Thats okay, I like school although I am fearing today will be BORING. Oh well
Cheers

Nikkis Nits

This is the spiderman one I did for my nephews Jake, and Sam this Christmas
This is a hat I made for a huge Broncos fan at my work

Hey Everyone, I just wanted to kinda show you the hats I have been making lately. I love making hats. It has become one of my favorite hobbies. I especially love doing customized hats. They keep things fun and interesting. If anybody would like one they are just $20.00 and really warm. I can put anything you want on it, just let me know (post a comment on the blog). I can do any size (Rex), color, strings or no strings, pom poms, ears or not, ANYTHING! So since winter isn't over yet, let me know.

Update

Tim Here
I am just waiting for my web design class to start. It is three hours long, but only once a week which is nice. I watched Arsenal play AC Milan today in the Champions League. Both teams had good chances to score, and Arsenal should have won. It was fun because I watched it in the Union with a bunch of other people. The guy I sat next to was from Cameroon. He was nice. Based on the play from the past two days, I predict Barca will play Arsenal in the final, and Arsenal will win 2-1. You heard it here first.

VALENTINES DAY!!!

Yesterday was Valentines and it was a total surprise. Tim and I were planning on celebrating Valentines on 02-15 (friday) because of the lack of money (that happens sometimes as newly weds, money is tight). So we exchanged cards in the morning and planned on going out on Friday. Tim I guess had a different plan I guess. I was so excited because we actually had Cafe Rio when I got home from work (my favorite). The best surprise was that I went to get a drink out of the fridge and Tim had hidden a bouquet of gorgeous flowers in the fridge. It made me so happy. The only problem is that I expected to celebrate it of Friday so all tim got were some home made coupons for things like "speghetti dinner" or "30 minute back massage." I will have to get him something over the weekend.
My sister Paula went babysitting for my Nieces and Nephews. She said that she had so much fun. PS..... I have the cutest nieces and nephews in the whole wide world. All 11 are on Tims side. Hopefully we will get some on my side soon.

Weekly Recap

Nikki and I had a good week at school and work. Hopefully this next week will feature a couple of golf articles, lacrosse articles and a column about soccer in the Chronicle. I am happy this sun is beginning to shine because that means soccer and lacrosse are just around the corner. Nikki and I went to the ward on Saturday and we played lacrosse. I got a new string kit for my stick and it throws soooooooooo nice. I can't wait to watch lacrosse games. Well, thats it. Tim

PRESIDENT HINCKLEY

This last week Tim and I were able to go to the viewing of prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. It was an amazing experience and it was fun to be there with people how all had a love and respect for him. We got there around 5:30 PM and parked at the Wells Fargo Building. We got the the conference center and it was packed. It seemed that everyone had the same idea to go down on the last day. There were probably 4 different lines, entering at different areas of the center. Each line wrapped it way around the center is some fashion. Tim and I jumped in the first line that we found an end too. It was around 45 to 50 degrees when we got there but when the sun went down it got down to about 20. Most people were dressed in their sunday best with their coats, hats, gloves, and scarfs on. I wore a skirt but did not have tights on with it. I seriously thought my legs were going to get frost bite and fall off. Needless to say I took a few trips over to the visitors center to regain feeling in my feet while Tim held our place in line. I met a lady over at the Visitors Center who was likely in her early mid 60's and she was so happy to be there. She said what everyone else was thinking, "he has done so much for us, we can do this for him". At one point my parents came by after eating pizza at Litzas and shared some pizza with us and a little boy in line that "LOVES PIZZA." It was really nice of them to come down. We finally got inside the Conference Center around 8:30, so we were outside for three hours. After getting inside they ushered us to the auditorium and we waited there for two hours. While inside we met the cutest little boy named Jackson. He was behind us in his seat and he was 15 months old, so stinkin cute. he wandered over to Tim and I and played with us for a while. After being inside for two hours we were put in line to the go the room of the prophets. While on the escalator up to the room the spirit was so strong. Everything changed the closer we got to the room. As we approached there were ushers and security guards and they all were very still and reverent. Even the kids around us seemed to know the importance of where they were and who was there. There were probably 30 security guards on the inside of that small room. The spirit was so strong and it was so amazing to be there. I am so glad that I was able to experience that for the prophet.
I am so thankful for a latter day prophet. I was only 8 years old when President Hinckley was called to be the prophet so I guess all those years he just felt like my prophet since he was really the only one I remember. I have total faith though in President Monson now that he is the Prophet and I am thankful for the confirmation I recieved that the mantle has been passed. What an amazing church we have. One more thing that I thought was interesting, epecially during this time of political debate for a new President of the US. We put total and complete faith in the selecting of a new prophet even though we have no input and say in who it is and yet when we are granted the right to vote for a President we are always questioning he/she in there views and opinions- The Lords way- versus - The worlds way I guess!

Livin' Life

Today, I am at school and Nikki is at work. The snow is coming down like a wild banshee. The Chronicle published my match up box for the USA vs Mexico, but not the entire article. That is ok though. I will be at school today from 7:20 AM to around 9:00 PM. I like going to school though because it is enlightening. I have to work on my website now, good day.
