Halloween!

Sorry I have not blogged in a while. I thought I would post some pictures or Halloween. It was such a fun night. We got invited to our friends Allen and Melissa's awesome Halloween party. We went as Mario and Luigi in case you could not tell. We had a lot of fun. There are also some pictures of Matt and Krista too, in case you could not tell who they were. Anyways, I have some more pictures of stuff from the last month but they are on my camera and I can not find the cable since the move so we will post those later. Ps.... Size 40 overalls and a t-shirt are not very flattering. So in case you are wondering after looking at these pictures, I am not pregnant, I do not have cancer (my hair is just up), and I am not growing facial hair, its paint! 

MARIO BRO"S

Ok so the explanation on the really weird post. So on halloween Tim and I were Mario and Luigi. I was at work on Halloween (dressed as Luigi) and I was in training. I already knew what we were learning, so I was really bored. There are no games on our computers at work but there was this program called paint. I am sure all of you have see it. You can make pictures and stuff. I used to love it when I was a kid. Therefore, I spent probably two hours on this picture. It was fun just to remember all the stuff in the Mario bro's games (original nintendo) so for those of you who cant remember it is mario with flower power (red balls), the green tube with the mean plant thins, a turtle on bricks and a biggie. blast from the past. I will post pictures of our halloween costumes. That is the very long explanation! oh wait.... I forgot to say why it was on my blog. Well, after I finished making it I forgot that on the training computers I could not save it. I spent so long on it and was actually pretty proud of it (paint is super hard). So my only option was to post it on my blog to save it. I was just going to delete it as soon as I got home and save it to our computer but I left it on so long I am sure you were curious.

Final Walk through

OK.... So I know that I have not blogged forever and thanks to my husband you at least got some updates. I started to read the Twight books and then there was the Olympics, and they seemed to take over everything that is important. So.... sorry about all the excuses, I will try to be a better blogger. So we did our final walk through on our house this week. We will probably close some time this week or maybe next. I am so excited! It is looks so good.

Our family room/ that is our bedroom door and then a media nook, then on the right is an art nook and a fireplace. This wall we are actually going to do as an accent wall and paint it a darker red. They would not let us come in an paint it before then put our regular color on it so we are just going to paint over it.

This is the entry to our home and our stair case. This is what it looks like if you walk in our front door. Just not at such a steep angle.

This is the front of our island. We opted to get the table legs on it, what do you think? I really like it.

The master bedroom. This picture makes it look kinda small but it was taken in our walk in closet so it is kinda far back. We opted to get a glass shower with tiled walls instead of the standard bathtub that is just like a one piece fiberglass thing. I did not like it so we just got it in the second bathroom so we have a bathtub.

Fishing at Strawberry

My dad got a new boat so he took Nikki, Ben and I fishing at Strawberry. This happened awhile ago, but it was still fun. Nikki caught 6 monsters and Ben caught a couple and I caught a monster too. My dad mainly drove the boat.

Here is another update for our Townhome. They painted, put in the cabinets, tile, and tile shower.

Summer Time

So I finally finished the summer semester and did better than I thought. I only have two classes left then I will graduate in December. Nikki is doing well, just loving the Olympics. She is obsessed with Swimming and Water Polo and I love the soccer, even though I haven't woken up early enough to see them live. Nikki and I have been playing soccer at least twice a week. We are both trying to lose weight and trying to exercise on a regular basis, something neither of us have done since we got married because we have been so busy. We will be moving to our new place next month and can't wait. It will be nice to start a new phase of our lives and have a place to call our own. (Nikki already has decorating plans) That's all for now!

Camping and House Update

So Nikki and I went camping recently at Strawberry Reservoir. It was awesome. Krista and Matt joined us for one of the two nights we were there. It was hot during the day and cool during the night.

Here is a look at our new townhouse. It is getting closer to being done! The top floor will be ours so all the windows you see will be our windows. Also, the garage on the right will be our garage.

So I am sorry I have had no time to post lately! Things have just been so busy! I am sure that nobody is even going to read this because you think I must have given up on blogging. Well the last time I blogged It was my anniversary ( I can't believe it has been that long, sorry). I guess that I should update everyone on what is going on in our life.

Our townhouse is on course to be finished in September. They poured the foundation a few weeks ago but no building has been done yet. That also means that we are currently living with Tims parents. I love my in-laws so this in not a bad thing. Just a little crowded. Not with people because Tim has no siblings at home still but just because everything we owned is pushed into a 12x10 room. We have some stuff in the garage, but mostly everything is in our room. I am just excited to have something that is ours, so we can decorate and do whatever we want with it.

I did 2 weddings (the flowers) since the last time I blogged. It was awesome and I know that is what I will eventually do for a career, besides being a mom. I did my friend jessica's at work, and I did my cousins Melanie's. They looked awesome. I will post some pictures tonight or tomorrow when I get a chance.

We are going camping this weekend with Matt and Krista. I am stoked. We are going to go to strawberry and do some fishing, hiking, and just R&R. I seriously am so so excited.
