1 YEAR

So this weekend was our one year anniversary. I can't believe that it has been a year. It goes by so fast. With all the wedding that are coming up it makes me miss my wedding. I wish that I could relive that day all over again. I loved my wedding. And I love my husband. Here are a few pictures from that day!

ONE YEAR AND STILL SO IN LOVE!

This is seriously one of my favorite pictures from my wedding. I think it is because it is really original. But kinda funny that my favorite picture happens to be our feet!

My cute Family

And Again

Hoorah!

THIS YEAR

Tim surprised me with a weekend to The Grand America Hotel. It was so fun! We stayed there for our first night after we were married. Tim got the same room that we stayed in last year so it was very romantic! There were roses waiting for us in the room and a plate of chocolates.

We got to the hotel on saturday at around 4:30 and took a nap. We were exhausted from earlier that day. We woke up and went to PF Changs. It was so good and filling. We then went and saw "What Happens In Vegas" It was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be kinda scandalous and vulgar, really though, it was so good. I laughed so hard.

We went back to the hotel and the room has really large bath tubs so needless to say we took advantage of that fact. We woke up the next day and went to Brunch. It was so yummy. It was a great weekend and I love my husband so much. He is so good to me and makes me so happy. Bestest friend in the whole wide world. WUV YOU TOOTIE!

David Archuleta

Ok my big day with David Archuleta! I found out yesterday that David was going to be on the radio at 97.1 ZHT and I had won tickets from them in the past, so I knew where the studio is. I had this crazy idea to go to the studio in the morning and see if I could spot David. So I called my sister paula last night and we thought it would be fun. I woke up this morning at 6:30 and we left for the studio about 7:00. There were no other fans there so we waited for about hour and a half. Finally a few other cars showed up with fans. Finally at about 8:40 he pulled in, in his huge stretch limo truck. We chased the limo around the building to the back. There were lots of camera people and news crews. One lady told us to act excited because she was the filmer for American Idol. I got his autograph as he was walking in the building and my sister paula got him to sign her phantom of the opera song book. I had brought my sisters friend Carly and she did not get an autograph at first so we waited for him to come out of the studio. While we were waiting I was interviewed by the SL tribune. Here is the Articles!

Wherever he went this morning, David Archuleta was far and away the most popular teen in Utah.
From a television station near the Salt Lake City International Airport to The Gateway mall downtown, Archuleta's screaming fans were in full force, cheering on the 17-year-old to become the next "American Idol."
Thousands chanted his name at the AT&T store at the outdoor mall, and some screaming girls even cried as he walked up the steps to sign autographs. For a brief time Friday morning, Salt Lake City had its very own version of "Beatlemania."

"I'm obsessed," said 21-year-old fan, Nikki Haslam, who was waiting outside the back doors of radio station KZHT 97.1 FM, where David appeared on the morning show. "I love watching him. And these are my sisters - I pulled them out of school to come here."
The Murray High School junior is in town for a homecoming rally Friday that will be filmed by "Idol" producers for Tuesday's episode. He is one of three finalists on this season's show, along with Missouri's David Cook and Florida's Syesha Mercado.
First stop this morning was the studio of local Fox affiliate KSTU Channel 13, where he greeted his first fans of the day - some hundred or so - and sang a version of Dolly Parton's "Smokey Mountain Memories." "It's amazing to be here," he told the Fox morning anchors. "I never

thought I would make it this far."
Then it was scheduled appearances on three stations, including KZHT and KEGA 101.5 FM. But when David's limousine driver got lost on the way to the first radio station (David was traveling in a long black stretch limo with a truck bed attached to the back), he had to cancel an appearance on country station KBULL 93 FM.
Finally, the teen appeared at The Gateway, where at least an estimated 2,000 fans waited in a line that wound down the second floor sidewalk of the shopping center, all hoping to catch a glimpse and chanting his name.
Janet Wayman, 14, Riverton, who has been waiting since 9 a.m., carried a sign that read: "Marry me (in four years)."
"He's cute, and he sings nice," she said. "I have newspaper pictures of him hanging on my wall." Around 10:40 a.m., David arrived in the limo as gray clouds hung overhead, popping his head through the sunroof, waving to the crowd. Thousands of fans screamed in approval.
"This is crazy," said one AT&T spokesperson at the event. AT&T Utah director of sales Marty Clark said the company held similar appearances in Missouri and Florida for Cook and Mercado and said those events "didn't come close" to the number of people who showed up for David.
After the autograph signing, David was whisked to his hotel - he is not staying at his Murray home for security reasons - for a few hours of downtime before the big event at 3 p.m. at his high school. He is scheduled to sing two songs at the school and will be given a gift basket by Murray City Mayor Dan Snarr.
The singer also is scheduled to perform the national anthem at the EnergySolutions Arena for Game 3 of the Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Lakers playoffs. That performance will not be televised.

AND HERE IS THE FIRST ARTICLE WRITTEN TITLED "HIS FIRST STALKER"

9:15 a.m.: Outside KZHT, there are a few crazed fans waiting for David to step out of the building.

One of them is Nikki Haslam, a 21-year-old from Salt Lake City.

"I'm obsessed. I love watching him," she said with so much enthusiasm she was about to burst. "And these are my sisters. I pulled them out of school to come here."

Haslam and others - there's only about a dozen outside the radio station - have been waiting there since 7 a.m.

"You feel connected when he sings, and he's from Utah, so how can you not love him?" she said.

David walks out the black door, and the small crowd gives out a screeching yell.

He stops to sign autographs. Nikki is oh so happy.

Pet Peeves

So I was reading on a fellow bloggers blog and she blogged about her pet peeves. I thought that would be a fun tag so I am going to start it! Just put your top ten pet peeves and why they peeve you off so badly.

1. When my husband takes his socks off and they are all balled up. I hate this because then you wash and dry them like that. They never get fully dry because they are all balled up!
2. Red arrows on left hand turns. I can't stand when there is one because instead of yielding to oncoming traffic and eventually getting to go, you have to sit and wait when you know you could make it across the intersection.
3. Washing my hands and having no lotion to put on after. You know when your at school or another public place and you do not have lotion with you. I don't know why this is such a bad one for me. I think it might be a little OCD about it.
4. When people talk about other people behind their backs. This one is not always a pet peeve as I do it sometimes as well, but it is when you don't agree with what they are saying about the person so it is really awkward.
5. When you are at a restaurant and people butt you in the soda line. This is especially bad at cafe rio. Do they just not see you waiting there!
6. LAUNDRY LAUNDRY LAUNDRY!! I absolutely hate doing laundry. I don't know why. I just simply do. I would pay someone to do my laundry. I would clean a 100 bathrooms in one day if I did not have to do laundry
7. When people come in my lane while driving. I think this one is bad for my because my car is hard to see, but they don't just cut me off (which I can stand) but they come directly in my lane while on the side of them. So the only thing I can do is move into another lane or let them side-swipe me.
8. When I vacuum up bobby pins. This one is my fault. I don't how they get on the floor but I hate when I vacuum them up because it is so loud and it scares me half to death.
9. When I have headphones on and people walk up on me. This scares me so bad. For instance: I am folding clothes and someone walks up on me and touches me or talks really loud so I can hear them. I hate this.
10. When I have headphones on and people try to talk to you. Like they think you can hear them or something. They are not just in my ears, hangin out. Obviously I am listening to something. It would be fine if they came up to you and made a motion that they want to talk to you or something like that. But they just start into their conversation. "what did you say, sorry I had headphones on in case you did not notice" haha

Ok so now it is everyone else's turn. I tag anyone who reads this to do one on their blog.  BETSY, MELISSA, NICOLE, KRISTA, MOM, I know you all are reading this STEPH, JACCI come on girls. I think it is so interesting to find out what peeves people off.

HOMES AND FLOWERS

So I am sorry I have not blogged in a long time! I really just dont have a ton to blog about. Tim and I, this last weekend, put money down on some condo's being built in West Jordan. They are so cute. They won't be built til December but that means we will be the first owner. They are 1,200 sq. feet and totally affordable. It is really close to my work which will save on gas for me. Tim is another story because who knows what he will doing by Then. He graduates in December though which will be soooo nice! He is so busy lately because he has so much home work. He is constantly working on something. I live in the same house as him yet I miss him. I just can't wait for him to come home from work and we can do anything we want, instead of being tied to the house. I don't think I will ever graduate! I have been going to school for over two years now and I feel like I havn't gone anywhere. I have changed my major 4 times now, which might be the reason why. I know for sure what I am going to do now though. I am going to graduate in Communications, just so I have a degree, and then I am going to be a florist. I know for sure that is what I want. I might start with just wedding's and eventually have my own flower shop. I love to do arrangements and it would be a dream come true if I was able to work with flowers for a living. Plus if I am self employed then my schedule can be flexable if I have kids. I am loving that the flowers are popping up lately because I love to work with spring flowers. Here are some I my more recent arrangements!

A WICKED WEEKEND

So I just got back from California yesterday and we had such a blast. We got to Burbank and went to Tiffany's (Sister that lives in Cali) home. She was there with James Richard because the girls were at school. We went swimming at her house in the 80 degree weather. It felt great to be in the sun. Most of us got sunburned but is was almost worth it. We then waited for the girls to come home and it was so good to see them. We left for our hotel and anybody that knows me knows that I must have left something at Tiffany's. However, I actually lost two items: my makeup bag and my Brighton bracelet from Tim.
We got to the hotel and unpacked. We were all starving so we went to dinner in Pasadena at a small Mexican joint. It was for real Mexican food, not that tex mex stuff. SO GOOD! We got back to the hotel pretty late and stayed up playing cards and talking til Tiffany talked us all to sleep. The next day we went to Wicked the Broadway musical. We got the theatre and there were about 4 rows in front us us that were empty. We figured that a bus had not shown up yet. Soon after about 60 high school age kids walked in. They were all dress so modestly and cute. We figured it was maybe a church group. That was until I swore I heard rachelle's voice (best friend Krista's younger sister) I looked in front of me and one row ahead and two chairs over she sat. I was so shocked. It was Olympus High's concert choir. It was so fun to see her there. Wicked was amazing. I absolutely loved it. I can not believe that some people can sing like that. I had chills everywhere.
This is the Witch hat necklace that we all bought for Nancy! She is the best Mother-in-law for taking us all. So kind of her

                                                                       Tiffany and Sarah

This is us in front of the Theatre

The only star that I knew!

                                                                  Stars in Hollywood

After the play we went to a outdoor mall nearby and that was so much fun. We went to eat at this amazing BBQ place. We also went to the American Girl Doll store. There were two ladies in there that asked the store worker "Where is the American Girl Dike." We all had a good laugh. We then went to the Cheesecake Factory and got some cheesecake. On the way home Tiffany accidently took the wrong way and it took probably an hour and a half to get back to the hotel. Its ok though Tiffany I am not mad, I swear. It gave everyone some time to eat there cheesecake and some bonding time. Sunday we just shopped and ate and came home. What a fun fun fun trip. Thanks Nanc for the trip. You are so sweet, and thanks to my fun sisters. I love you all. Thanks for including your stinky little brothers wife on your fun, lucky, neat, silly trip! Shout out to you Bets!

Girls at dinner, starting with me: Nikki, Sarah, Betsy--- around to the back of the table Nancy, and Tiffany

Weird Story!!

Ok so I have a funny story to tell: today at work while I was looking at all the blogs I normally check out I thought "I wonder if my old EFY counselor has a blog." Mind you, when I went to EFY and she was my counselor I was about 13. I have no Idea why I thought of her today but she just popped into my mind. So I went to google and typed in her name and it totally brought up a web site that she has. I was totally shocked because I did not really think anything would come up (how many of us can type our names into google and have something come up that really has to do with us). So I wrote her an email because it had her email on the web site. She really touched my life when I was so young. I was struggling to figure out who I was and she was such an awesome example. To this day I still look back and want to be like her. Get this, I got home from EFY and sent her a CTR bracelet. I thought I was so cool. Anyways I will let you know if anything comes from me emailing her. I just thought it was way funny!

This is her, I guess being the funny teenager that I was I did not get a better picture, or get one with both of us in it!
